Dominik Philipp

Dominik Philipp studied architecture, property development and civil engineering at the Carinthian University of Applied Sciences in Spittal an der Drau. He gained practical experience during his studies, including as a project manager at Burgstaller Bau in Innsbruck. In 2007 he joined Dietrich Untertrifaller Architekten in Vienna as a project manager and became a partner in 2014. Since 2016 he has been managing partner of all locations of the renowned architecture firm with offices in Bregenz, Vienna, Munich, St. Gallen and Paris.

In addition to his work in the office, Dominik Philipp has been a lecturer for project management in the “überholz” course at the University of Art and Design Linz. Since 2018, he has been teaching “Construction Management” at the Carinthian University of Applied Sciences with a focus on future-oriented and resource-saving concepts. The focus is on topics such as life cycle optimisation, recycling management and recycling. As a board member of IG Lebenszyklus Bau, he is actively involved in the further development of modern construction methods.

Dominik regularly shares his expertise in lectures at home and abroad. He also contributes his experience to the design advisory boards of Lungau and Salzburg. Within Dietrich Untertrifaller he promotes agile project methods, which are implemented through planning workshops at all five locations.
