He supervises the production of Economic Surveys for a number of countries, including the recently published Economic Survey of Croatia. Phil joined the OECD in the 1990s. He has been the lead economist of Economic Surveys for Australia, Canada, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Israel and Norway. He has also conducted research in the areas of economic growth and structural unemployment.
